If you're a Chardonnay fan, this is the week to get to Chaddsford Winery!
Barrel Select Chardonnay: New Look, New Taste
Be among the first to experience 2016 Barrel Select Chardonnay, released Tuesday, showcasing all-new, 'CFW Series' packaging.
Unlike the prior vintage, which blended oaked and unoaked Chardonnay, the 2016 wine is entirely oaked and comprised of about 15% Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio.
The end result is a smooth, bright, medium body wine with flavors of ripe apples, mangoes and butterscotch. Pair it with chicken alfredo, a grilled pork chop, or French onion soup.
Try 2016 Barrel Select Chardonnay as part of a $5 Specialty Harvest Festival Wine Tasting on September 15, 16, 22, and 23, or click here to shop online.
Price Drop: 2014 Artisan Series 'sur lie' Chardonnay
Chaddsford's premium, small-batch Chardonnay has dropped from $28 to $22/bottle!
Having been aged on its lees for 15 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels, 2014 Artisan Series 'sur lie' Chardonnay is creamy and complex with a mouth-coating, buttery texture.
Notes of vanilla merge nicely into clover honey, and crisp apple flavors finish with a Chablis-like minerality.
With less than 100 cases produced, inventory is limited! Stop in to pick up a bottle, or click here to shop online.
