New Ownership, Bright Future for Chaddsford Winery

New Ownership, Bright Future for Chaddsford Winery

Chaddsford Winery is thrilled to announce our recent sale to the Vinton family, owners of New Jersey-based White Horse Winery.

We know that the Vinton family's deep ties to the Brandywine community and commitment to elevating Mid-Atlantic wines, as evidenced by their four coveted New Jersey Governor’s Cups, will propel Chaddsford’s forty-two-year legacy into a new, exciting chapter.

Chaddsford Winery and White Horse Winery will continue operating as separate entities while benefitting from complementary strengths and expertise.

Under new ownership, we will remain open for business seven days a week for guided wine flights, bottle sales, walk-ins, and table service. Additionally, the winemaking teams at Chaddsford and White Horse will collaborate to maximize the breadth and quality of both portfolios.

Planning is already underway for improvements to the property, as well as an expansion of our wildly popular, nearly sold out Adult Trick or Treat program and an enhanced presence at Dilworth Park's holiday-themed Wintergarden.

“When we began this process, our goal was to find a new owner who was the best fit for our beloved Winery. We’re confident that the Vinton’s and White Horse Winery are a perfect match. Our team feels fully rejuvenated and excited for the future,” says Corey Krejcik, General Manager of Chaddsford Winery.

BJ Vinton, White Horse Winery Proprietor, shares, “The potential synergies between White Horse and Chaddsford were impossible to ignore. Both brands do so many things right and we felt this was an incredible opportunity to leverage those combined successes to create something truly special.”

With an abundance of enthusiasm for our upcoming seasonal events and releases, Chaddsford Winery invites you to plan a visit, book a private event, and follow along on the journey. Cheers to new beginnings!
