For the third year in a row, sommeliers, beverage directors, and wine experts met for the PA Sommelier Judgment where they conducted a blind tasting of Pennsylvania wines.
The initiative - organized by the Pennsylvania Winery Association - is meant to bring attention and exposure to notable wines being produced in the state.
Out of the nearly 100 unique wines that were evaluated, Chaddsford's 2017 Artisan Series Cabernet Franc ranked in the Top 11!
While this wine is not yet released for sale, expect it to hit shelves within the coming months.
The official ranking and 'Best of State' honors from the 2019 Judgment will be revealed later this year, in October, to coincide with Pennsylvania Wine Month.
